Master’s thesis
The Master Thesis is a subject included in the syllabi of any bachelor's degree and master’s degree. The master’s thesis (MT) is worth 12 ECTS and must be completed in the last course supervised by a director or two co-directors. The thesis allows students to show in an integrated way their acquired knowledge and competences associated with the master’s degree.

Prerequisites
- In order to enrol in the master’s thesis, the student must previously submit a proposal.

Assessment of the master’s thesis
- The master’s thesis will be assessed following continuous assessment methodology. The advisor from EPS will use the continuous assessment portfolio.
Assessment panel
- The master coordinator will appoint the members of the assessment panel. This appointment will be proposed by the advisor or co-advisor from EPS who fills out the proposal document.
Submission and defense of the master's thesis
- The master’s thesis must be submitted at least 5 working days prior to the presentation date following the instructions given at this link.
- As part of the submission process, the student has to provide a brief summary signed by the advisor or co-advisor from EPS. This document includes student's and advisor's authorization to deposit a copy of the master's thesis in the library of UdL.

In order to find a topic for their master's thesis, students can contact a research group of EPS. The following EPS research groups from the ICT area take part of the research centre INSPIRES:
